Around 150 women union members came together to celebrate the event in Kathmandu

On March 8th, the Independent Transport Workers’ Association of Nepal (ITWAN) and Nepal Yatayat Majdur Sangh (NETWON) organised a joint event in Kathmandu to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event brought together around 150 women from both unions, including members of the Joint Women’s Committee.

Participants were addressed by leaders of both unions, as well as the convenor of Joint Women’s Committee. The women received booklets and leaflets about International Women’s Day which were provided by the ITF Regional Office in Delhi.
